My Fellow Texans,

Celebrate Texas is an organization dedicated to encouraging and promoting the education of the general public regarding Texas Independence Day and the history of Texas and its people. Founded by Jay L. Johnson in 1998, each year the organization sponsors a number of events to highlight the March 2nd Celebration of Texas Independence Day. Among the many events is a parade up Congress Avenue, essay scholarship contests on Texas History in our elementary and secondary schools and a celebrity golf tournament.

I encourage you to support the Twelveth Annual Celebrate Texas Jay L. Johnson Memorial Celebrity Golf Tournament on Monday, March 4, 2013. The site of the tournament is the beautiful Falconhead Golf Club

There will be great prizes and great food.
Proceeds from your tax deductible contributions will go toward carrying on the goals of the organization and funding scholarships for students in the state of Texas.
